After getting booked on another felony charge, a convicted felon’s bond was set at 150, 000 dollars. Police arrested 33 – year – old Maurice Lawrence Thursday after allegedly selling drugs to an undercover police officer. Afterwards, police discovered he had more than just drugs in his possession.
Police said he also had several stolen guns. In his bedroom they also found three handguns – one of them a .40 caliber and the other a semi-automatic rifle.
Lawrence was staying with his mother, and police said he was conducting a drug operation out of her house. His mom showed up during his arrest and gave police permission to go inside the home. Police said they found marijuana, cocaine and digital scales.
Lawrence told police everything they found in the home belonged to him and he was then taken into custody.
