“Race” Play Comes to TSU

The play “Race” by David Mamet opens next week. The play features Tennessee State University students and tackles some “racy” subjects including rape, sex and racism.  TSU junior Kazadi Kazadi plans to see the play to gain a better understanding of some of those tough issues.

“What you say verbally isn’t always correlated with what you do physically or with body language.  But when somebody definitely means no, you know.  You always have to be aware of your surroundings; be alert and present in all situations.”

The play opens next Thursday and goes through Sunday and takes place in the Cox-Lewis Theater.
